The first sensors are now on line and streaming data to our database. Sensor 1 ("Magnesium") is in the Greenhouse area of the Science and Engineering Hall at George Washington University in Washington, DC. This sensor is approximately 40 meters above 23rd Street NW and adjacent to the busy George Washington University Hospital. Sensor 2 ("Carbon") is located in Cumberland, Maryland, a small city in Western Maryland. Although more remote from sources of carbon emission than Sensor 1, it's location is within 200 meters of a small, coal-fired boiler.
